AMBITION AND PROFESSIONALISM

Located in the southern part of Portugal, Vidreira Algarvia does not limit itself to a regional status. Its ambition is to cover the entire national territory, including the Azores and Madeira, as well as the Spanish market and its respective archipelagos (Canary Islands and Balearic Islands).

ORIGINS

Vidreira Algarvia is an industrial flat glass processing company, founded in 1976, with a journey spanning over 40 years.

In 2009, Vidreira Algarvia entered a new phase of development.

GROWTH

With a change in ownership, along with the new partner, Simão Rodrigues, and a new management team, the company embarked on a transformation effort with the ultimate goal of becoming a reference in the market, both nationally and internationally.

In this regard, investments were made in industrial, commercial, and human capabilities, providing the company with the necessary tools to achieve the set objectives.

CURRENT SITUATION

With the new management and as a result of continuous investments, Vidreira Algarvia, which had 16 employees at the time of the acquisition, is now represented by over 100 professionals.

Production has increased significantly to the point where the company is among the largest national companies in the sector, in terms of installed industrial capacity and turnover.

Vidreira Algarvia’s mission is to offer the market the wide range of possibilities that glass allows, from architects to builders, while establishing relationships of trust and friendship.

Vidreira Algarvia provides the right solution for the customer’s needs: from thermal insulation, soundproofing, self-cleaning, decoration, security, to on-site assembly. Our Portimão and Lisbon units have specialized teams available to carry out assembly work.

Vidreira Algarvia is part of the Climalit network and is subject to bi-annual audits to verify product compliance.

Annually, several samples of double glazing are also sent to certified laboratories to ensure product quality and durability. Vidreira Algarvia holds the CERTIF accreditation.

For the production of double glazing, quality control is ensured from the arrival of raw materials to the finished end product.
